How to identify A21

The A21 has the same general pear-like profile as an A19 but measures a nominal 21 eighths of an inch—approximately 2⅝ inches—at its widest point.

Common applications

Large table and floor lamps, utility areas, open pendants, high-output general lighting and spacious decorative fixtures.

Technologies and base options

A21 lamps are available in several technologies and output levels, usually with medium screw or bayonet bases.

Technologies represented in this library: LED, Incandescent, Halogen.

Available base types: E26, E27, B22.

Typical market availability

Technology Common wattage range Typical lumen range Common colour temperatures Common voltage options
LED 12–25 W 1100–2600 lm 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 6500K 120V; 220–240V
INCANDESCENT 100–150 W 1600–2600 lm Approximately 2700K 120V; 220–240V
HALOGEN 72–100 W 1490–2200 lm Approximately 2800K–3000K 120V; 220–240V

These are representative market ranges, not guaranteed limits. Availability varies by manufacturer, voltage, base, beam, region and product generation.

How to select the correct lamp

Measure fixture clearance before purchase and compare lumen output, voltage, base, operating position and enclosure rating.

Compatibility and safety

An A21 may use the same base as an A19 but still be too wide or too long for the fixture.

Important: The library describes a lamp format, not a particular product. A shared shape does not guarantee matching voltage, base, dimensions, light distribution or control-gear requirements. Confirm the fixture label and product datasheet, or ask a Bulb World lighting specialist.

Replacement Notes

Measure fixture clearance before purchase and compare lumen output, voltage, base, operating position and enclosure rating.

Capability Warning

An A21 may use the same base as an A19 but still be too wide or too long for the fixture.
