A pear-straight-sided high-output lamp format used in large fixtures and legacy commercial systems.
PS describes a pear-shaped envelope with straighter sides than a standard A lamp. PS25 has a nominal maximum diameter of 25 eighths of an inch, approximately 3⅛ inches.
Large pendants, post-top fixtures, commercial interiors, utility spaces, area lighting and LED retrofit applications.
PS25 lamps include legacy incandescent products and high-output LED replacements with medium or mogul screw bases.
