How to select the correct lamp

Match base, voltage, overall length and finish. For visible fixtures, compare filament appearance, colour temperature, dimming and whether the tip will fit beneath a shade or cover.

Compatibility and safety

B11, C11 and CA-style lamps may appear similar but can differ in tip shape, shoulder profile and overall length.

Important: The library describes a lamp format, not a particular product. A shared shape does not guarantee matching voltage, base, dimensions, light distribution or control-gear requirements. Confirm the fixture label and product datasheet, or ask a Bulb World lighting specialist.

Replacement Notes

Match base, voltage, overall length and finish. For visible fixtures, compare filament appearance, colour temperature, dimming and whether the tip will fit beneath a shade or cover.

Capability Warning
