How to identify LED Neon Flex

LEDs are enclosed in an opaque diffusing silicone or polymer profile. Products are designed for top bending, side bending or multidirectional bending.

Common applications

Signage, building outlines, hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, retail environments and architectural accents.

Technologies and connection options

The diffusing housing hides individual LED points. Static-white, single-colour, RGB, RGBW and animated pixel versions are available.

Technologies represented in this library: LED.

Available base or connection types: Factory Lead, Two-Wire Connector, RGB/RGBW Connector.

Typical market availability

Static White LED

Common power: 2–6 W

Typical output: 100–500 lm

Colour options: Approximately 2200K–6500K

Voltage: Commonly 12V or 24V DC

Notes: Power and output figures are per foot. Outdoor and IP-rated versions are common.

RGB / RGBW LED

Common power: 3–7 W

Typical output: Product-specific / primarily decorative

Colour options: RGB, RGBW and animated pixel options

Voltage: Commonly 24V DC

Notes: Power figures are per foot; requires a compatible controller.

These are representative market ranges, not guaranteed limits. Availability varies by manufacturer, voltage, length, environmental rating, region and product generation.

How to select the correct system

Choose the required bending direction, profile dimensions, voltage, colour system, output, cut interval, controller and environmental rating.

Compatibility and safety

Do not bend neon flex against its specified direction or below its minimum bend radius. Field cuts and ends must be sealed exactly as directed.

Important: This library entry describes a lighting format, not a particular product. Similar appearance does not guarantee matching voltage, connectors, dimensions, output, environmental rating or control requirements. Confirm the product label and datasheet, or ask a Bulb World lighting specialist.

Replacement Notes

Choose the required bending direction, profile dimensions, voltage, colour system, output, cut interval, controller and environmental rating.

Capability Warning

Do not bend neon flex against its specified direction or below its minimum bend radius. Field cuts and ends must be sealed exactly as directed.
