How to identify PAR16

PAR means parabolic aluminized reflector. PAR16 has a nominal diameter of 16 eighths of an inch, or 2 inches.

Common applications

Track lighting, retail displays, galleries, hospitality accents, compact downlights and residential feature lighting.

Technologies and base options

PAR16 lamps are available in LED and halogen forms. Screw-base and GU10 versions use different sockets and may operate at different voltages.

GU10 and screw-base PAR16 products are not interchangeable. Do not select only by reflector diameter or visual appearance.
