PAR30

A medium directional reflector format available in multiple technologies, bases and beam distributions.

Available Bulb Base

A medium directional reflector format available in multiple technologies, bases and beam distributions.

How to identify PAR30

PAR30 has a nominal diameter of 30 eighths of an inch, or 3¾ inches. Short-neck and long-neck constructions are common.

Common applications

Track lighting, recessed fixtures, galleries, restaurants, retail displays and architectural accents.

Technologies and base options

PAR30 describes the reflector format, not one electrical specification. It is made in LED, halogen and incandescent versions with different bases, voltages, neck lengths and beam angles.

Technologies represented in this library: LED, Incandescent, Halogen.

Available base types: E26, E27.

Typical market availability

Technology Common wattage range Typical lumen range Common colour temperatures Common voltage options
LED 8–18 W 650–1500 lm 2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K 120V; 220–240V
INCANDESCENT 50–75 W 500–1000 lm Approximately 2700K 120V; 220–240V
HALOGEN 35–75 W 500–1100 lm Approximately 2800K–3000K 120V; 220–240V

These are representative market ranges, not guaranteed limits. Availability varies by manufacturer, voltage, base, beam, region and product generation.

How to select the correct lamp

Confirm E26 versus E27, voltage, short- or long-neck construction, fixture depth, beam angle, lumens, colour temperature and dimming.

Compatibility and safety

PAR30 and BR30 have the same nominal diameter but are not equivalent in beam control. A matching diameter does not guarantee the same light distribution.

Important: The library describes a lamp format, not a particular product. A shared shape does not guarantee matching voltage, base, dimensions, light distribution or control-gear requirements. Confirm the fixture label and product datasheet, or ask a Bulb World lighting specialist.

Replacement Notes

Confirm E26 versus E27, voltage, short- or long-neck construction, fixture depth, beam angle, lumens, colour temperature and dimming.

Capability Warning

PAR30 and BR30 have the same nominal diameter but are not equivalent in beam control. A matching diameter does not guarantee the same light distribution.
